Tulip Rallye 2018

The Hooper -Omec rally team participated in the 2018 Tulip Rallye with Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud III FHC in the expert class. The tulip rally is a six days, 11-16 hours daily driving (including night stage) rally over Europe’s finest mountain,forrest,rural and country roads.

This years start was at the Cote d’ Azur at Mandelieu-La Napoule, with further stops at Avignon, Valance, Lyon, Belfort, Luxemburg, finishing in Maastricht at Chateau St Gerlach (were the Maastricht Treaty-founding of the Euro was ratified).

The rallye has four categories: Vintage‎,Touring,Sporting and Expert, with in total approximately 220 teams/equippes. At the end is a festive price winning gala event.

The Hooper-Omec‎ team took place 26 and overall winner was the team Lambrigts-den Hartog with Ford Escort Mexico (in orange livery).

The rally raised over 25.000 euro for the Foundation on throat cancer research.
